Hello Bisley folks,
I am a Canadian connection -- my mother a daughter of Sydney Davis and Maud Williams.
I have visited Bisley and surrounding area a couple of times in the past 10 years and it is such a beautiful place -- I do know my family ancestry, however if any of the extended family wants to get in touch would love to hear from you ... though my mother and her siblings all moved away from the area, I do know that they maintained family contact (probably up until the 1970) -
You have developed a great site here and I am enjoying being able to view it from so far away.
thanks, Carol

Hi
I am currently researching my family and am trying to find out information about an Abiatha Henry Davis born about 1838 in or close to Bisley to a William Davis and Mary Ann Antill. As you know your family history I wondered if you know anything out these Davis's?
Many thanks

hi Annie,
my gt. gt. grandfather was William Davis born about 1811 and wife's name Esther - they did not appear to have a son named William.
but from my research I have found them in Miserden (nr. Bisley) so you might be able to find your ancestors thru that location - I have only researched my direct line and William is as far as I have gone back so far with this family.
good luck! Carol
