My GGGgrandfather John Hailstone married a Hannah Smart in 1826 in Hackney, London. Their children & descendants settled around Luton. I have been unable to find baptism/birth or parents of Hannah, but family tradition says her family came from the Bristol area. The IGI shows a Hannah Smart baptised at Bisley 19 Feb 1804. Does anyone have any information on this Hannah that could help to establish if she is same person who married into my tree?

Thanks for information. This could well be \"my Hannah\", but I need proof that this Hannah Smart was the same that married John Hailstone in Hackney on 7 Nov 1826 - marriage record says she was born in county, but this is probably not correct since her husband also recorded as born in county, yet I know he came from Suffolk. I have looked at christenings in neighbouring parishes in London without success, but family tradition says Smarts came from Bristol area. If you find any further information in your research about the Bisley Hannah (especially if she married in Bisley area) then at least I can delete her as a possibility. Thanks for your help.
