I, too, am looking for information on the Brittain family. I have that Richard Brittain (b.1613 d.1735) was \"Vicar of Bisley in the County of Gloucester\" according to his will. It also stated that he and his wife, Sarah, should be buried in the chancel of the Church of Bisley. Any information to substantiate this would be greatly appreciated.

Interesting thre are no Brittains in Mary Rudd's Bisley but look at page 150 where a Richard Britton became vicar in 1641. Died 1679. Will 1678 - details page 152.
