My great x3 grandfather Richard Fawkes born 1818 lived at Sheephouse Farm and is buried in the Bisley Churchyard, along with his wife Mary (maiden name Griffin), and two of their offspring. It would be great to hear from anyone else who shares this lineage, or who might be able to tell me exactly where \"Sheephouse Farm\" might be?
I am researching into my sisters fathers family and I believe that you may be related to her.
Richard Faulks was her great grand father, her grand father was Frederick William Faulks and her father was Frederick James Faulks. Frederick William was the eldest, he was born 1855 then Arthur 1857, Esther 1859 and Edward 1862. I assume that you are descended from one of these people.
My sister is particularly interested to trace an older half brother, however she has no information about him, not even a name.
It would be great to hear from you and to discover the family connection.
I am also a descendant of the the Fawkes/Sollars/Etheridge and Bishops from Bisley and surrounding area .
I am very stuck on the Bishop family in the 17 and 18 hundreds if anyone could help I would appreciate it .
