I am researching the Goodship/ Goodcheape family from Bisley and have got back to Ann Munday married to John Goodship in 1803. There son was Edwin Goodship married to Elizabeth Parsons. Does anybody have any info on the Munday or Parsons side. I am hoping that a local researcher will be able to help me but would appreciate help from anybody if they know these families.
I also have Gardiners/ Gardners,Gubbins,Phelps, Arundell and Bishops from Bisley in my tree.
My grandfather was Sidney William Abel who built many a stone wall through France Lynch and Bisley.
thanks

Hi Karianne,

I presume you had lots of answers to your Parsons,Goodship query two years ago. I am descended from both Phelps and Gardiner lines and am currently working on a book for the Australian branch. I have had contact with a Goodship-Phelps descendant here and think it is reasonably close to my line. Sarah Ann Phelps married Zenas Goodship in 1890 in Stroud RD.

Hi there,
Not to many really but I do know that the Zenas and Sarah were my gtgtgt grandparents and I have some of their certificates here. I am aldo related to the Gardener Phelps familys through these relatives, it would be interesting to see if there are any details we can exchange
kind regards
Karianne
